Brownhoist, Bay City Shovel, Defoe, Alladin Homes, and others now just memories of what an important player in the industrial makeup of this region Bay City once was. A big part of that success was the quality of workmanship that was present in Bay City plants. I worked in a small foundry that used to make parts for them and although many of the patterns we used were marked IBH, we sold and delivered them to American Hoist & Derrick.
